Although research shows family engagement can positively impact student achievement, school leaders and teachers have so much on their plates that they have a difficult time creating sustainable systems and structures for family engagement.

This webinar will provide participants with an opportunity to assess their current family engagement systems, strategies to enhance two-way communication, and tools to build funds of knowledge for equitable family support.

Participants will walk away with ready-to-implement strategies for creating and sustaining reciprocal community partnerships and be inspired by the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) successfully used by a Title I school to remove barriers and engage even the most disengaged families.

  • Session 1 – Overview of MTSS for Families
  • Session 2 – Strategies and Resources for Enhancing Relationships and Effective Communication
  • Session 3 – Implementing MTSS for Families
  • Session 4 – Strategies and Resources for Enhancing Shared Responsibility, Advocacy, and Community Partnerships
