November 9 and 10 – Anchorage
This professional learning opportunity is the first part of a 4-day training session for persons interested in becoming a Technical Assistance Coach for the State System of Support, their own district, or school. We have reserved up to 10 places for coaches or prospective coaches from Alaska school districts. The session will focus on coaching techniques, such as entry conversations and questioning techniques, norms of collaboration, technical versus adaptive challenges in school reform, the change process, leadership skills, and comprehensive assessment systems.
Target Audience: Persons interested in becoming a Technical Assistance Coach for the State System of Support (SSOS), their own district, or school.You must have an Alaska Type A or Type B certification and at least five years of experience in Alaska.
