April 7 & 8 –
Lakefront Hotel, Anchorage
The fundamental tenets of the Every Student Succeeds Act – the successor to No Child Left Behind – are now known, including shifting much of the policy-making power from the U.S. Education Department back to the states. The Every Student Succeeds Act offers Alaska an opportunity to develop state policy that is responsive to Alaska’s unique educational environment. Join us in Anchorage April 7th and 8th for two days of presentations, discussions and planning as we consider how to move forward with teaching and learning in our state.
