Enhancing RTI

with Doug Fisher – October 27, November 17, 2014 & January 13, 2015 –

In these webinars Doug Fisher will articulate an instructional plan, squarely built on research, that teachers, schools, and districts can use to enhance their RTI system.  The series will focus on aspects of high quality core instruction because RTI efforts are based on students’ receiving appropriate Tier 1 experiences. These experiences must be designed to ensure that the vast majority of students achieve success in school.  As part of the Tier 1 efforts in a school, teachers must monitor students’ progress and respond accordingly.  Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions are most effective when students also receive this type of core instruction.
