Join former ASD principals Jim and Diana Kurka for a course that implements strategies based on the principles of a strong professional learning community in order to launch your school into effective RTI strategies. This course supports K-12 administrators and teacher leaders in developing a responsive school environment, building collaborative teams, brainstorming solutions to common problems and supporting colleagues while implementing culturally responsive practices. Participants will engage in an action-oriented class that focuses on intervention, not remediation. Responsive learning communities create a school-wide system of interventions to provide students support when they experience difficulties. The goal is simply not learning a new system, but creating conditions for perpetual learning.
