FAQ
- Do I have to select all my breakout sessions when I register? No. You only need to select the days that you will attend. In previous years all registrants had to select their breakout sessions when they registered. You don’t need to do that this year.
- How do I select breakout sessions? We will send an online form to select your breakout sessions by email in January.
- Will I receive confirmation of my registration? Yes, you will receive a registration confirmation email from asdn@alaskaacsa.org. Be sure to check your spam folder.
- Where can I find my receipt? You will find a link to your receipt in your registration confirmation email.
- Do you accept purchase orders? Only if you are registering a group of 5 or more. If you wish to register a group, please send a PO to asdn@alaskaacsa.org, and we will send you a registration code so your group can register online.
- Can I register a group? Yes! You can register up to 99 people at a time. You have the option of entering your email as the group administrator so that you will automatically receive the receipt for your group. You may pay with a credit card, or you can send ASDN a purchase order, and we will send you a registration code for your group. With a code, all your teachers can register themselves without entering payment. We will invoice the district contact for the total registration amount under the code after your team members have registered themselves.
- My district is paying for my registration, how do I register without being charged? Your district administrator may choose to do a group registration and will fill out the online form for you. In that case, you will simply receive a confirmation email. If it is not in your inbox, please check your junk/spam folder. Alternatively, you may receive a registration code from your district office so that you can register yourself online. Enter the code at the checkout page and you will not be charged.
- What if I need to cancel my registration? Should you need to cancel your registration, you must contact ASDN by phone (907-364-3809) or email. Refer to the Pricing tab for refund policies and deadlines. Substitutions are allowed at any time. Unfortunately, we are not able to refund last minute cancellations due to weather or travel issues.
- Can I take the conference for credit? Attending the MTSS/Effective Instruction Conference will encourage, energize, and motivate you! Continue this positive experience by earning one 500-level university credit (UAA). There is a separate credit registration form. ASDN will send you an invitation to register for credit. The credit registration fee is $164.00. Credit registration will open on the first day of the conference.
Requirements:
- Attend both days of the conference sessions (6 sessions + 3 keynotes/endnote).
- Participate and complete 3 online activities (in Canvas): Summary, Research, and a Final Project. The final project will be on a topic from the conference. A template will be provided.
- Virtual Conference Participants will attend the full day of online sessions (keynote and 3 breakout sessions). Additionally, you will view 4 recorded breakout session

Call for proposals from current educators is open! The deadline is September 20. Open to educators currently working in Alaska. Apply to present a 60-minute session on impactful practices from your classroom, school or district.
