These sessions will provide evidence-based reading research and strategies for those who teach at all ages and grade levels.

21st Century Teaching and Learning
The opportunities for learning today are huge. How can we make our classrooms more learner-focused, with opportunities to engage critical thinking and real world challenges? Get inspired by Hadi Partovi’s keynote on how computer science can bring creativity and opportunity to K-12 education, and why it’s more important than ever to give every student in every school the opportunity to learn computer science. In fact, everywhere we turn, data is telling stories about our world. The need to analyze and interpret data is not confined to engineering or programming; it has become an essential life skill. Learn more about K-12 teachers role in developing data literacy from Dr. Jo Boaler, and “techquity” and information literacy with Ken Shelton.
