How can technology help you engage ALL students in your classroom?
What technology tools are teachers using to differentiate instruction in Alaska’s classrooms?
We invite you to join us for an exciting six-part webinar series that explores how to meet the unique needs of Alaskan students through technology. Hosted by Doug Penn, District-wide Principal for the Baldrige-Award winning Chugach School District, this webinar series features a diverse group of exemplary Alaskan educators showcasing effective tools and web 2.0 processes they use with students.
The first two webinars will provide a foundation in differentiated instruction from teacher mentors in the Alaska Statewide Mentor Project, and an investigation of best practices with Web 2.0 tools from William Ferriter, a national presenter, practicing middle school teacher and the author of Teaching the iGeneration. The final four webinars will feature exemplary Alaskan educators sharing real-life effective practices and tools.
Two 500-level professional development credits are available in conjunction with this webinar series. 100 full scholarships available to attend this webinar series. Course materials provided at no cost to the first 50 enrolled.
